GAME ORGANIZATION

EQUIPMENT

POINT SYSTEM

1. THREE points shall be awarded for a win.

2. ONE point shall be awarded for a tie.

3. ZERO points shall be awarded for a loss.

4. A team winning by FORFEIT, will be awarded THREE

points  & a N-0 win will be recorded, where N is the average of goals scored by such team in its other group games.

TIE BREAKER RULES

This tournament is a round robin format. In the event of point ties between 2 or more teams, the classification order will be decided by applying the following rules in sequence until the tie is broken:

 

i. Winner of head-to-head competition

ii. Highest goal differential (Max 5 goals Goal Differential per game)

iii. Goals Scored (Max 5 goals per game)

iv. FIFA “Kicks from the Penalty Mark”

If “Kicks from the Penalty Mark” are required, they will be scheduled shortly after the last game of the group.

RULES HIGHLIGHTS

A. Shootouts will be in place in this event and they will be awarded on:
 
(1) Penal fouls, and hand balls within the Penalty Arch
(2) Fouls committed to an attacking player (having control of the ball) from BEHIND by the second-to-last defender
(3) ANY foul by the last defender (GK counts as a defender)
 
B. Penalty Kicks will also be in place in the following circumnstances
 
(1) A foul commited by the GK to a player taking a Shootout
(2) In a shootout call with 5 seconds (or less) remaining at the end of the first half or at the end of the game. A PK is awarded instead.
(3) Also PKs will be used in tie breaker situations (see tie breaker rules)
 
C. Card system 
 
Blue Card, Blue+Yellow Card, Blue+Administrative Red card system
Each blue is two minutes time penalty.
Straight Yellow is 4 minutes time penalty.
Straight Red 5 minutes time penalty plus ejection.
Notes: Maximum time penalty is 5 minutes.
Delayed Blue Card is in place too when advantage is granted.

D. Free Kicks distance is 15 feet (not 10 feet). All free kicks are direct.
 
E. Time keeper to help center referee
 
F. Dual Referee system in some games
