DESCRIPTION
Real
Boise has partnered with Step Ahead Idaho, a
non-profit organization that helps students prepare for college. Choices students make in middle
school and junior high impact their future opportunities (academically
and sports-wise), so it is important to start planning early.
- Steve Adlard, Soccer Director of IYSA (Idaho Youth
Soccer Association) and college soccer coach for 20+ years, will be
discussing the nitty-gritty of the soccer recruitment process (~1
hour). He is the man to share with us all "secrets" and "tricks"
;-)!
- "Step Ahead
Idaho"
will have a presentation on college financial aid - terms, resources,
and a detailed session on college selection and resume building (~1
hour). This will give students a step ahead in pursuing their
college dreams!
As
you know, we had a great turn out with more than 100 people attending
our past seminar on Monday 1/31.
Do

Getting to college on an athletic scholarship
This seminar will be
on Monday,
January 31st, from 7 - 9pm and it will be held
in the Hayes
Auditorium at the Boise Library! located at 715 S Capitol Blvd (at Capitol and River
Streets, right across from the Boise Art Museum).
